Employee requests
Updated on July 8, 2026
Beyond clocking in and out, the panel lets you handle day-to-day matters without emails or paperwork: everything lives in the My requests section of the side menu, with three areas — Clock-in issues, Schedule changes and Remote work. The first two go through your manager or HR; remote work is logged instantly, with no approval needed.
Fixing a time entry: clock-in issues
Forgot to clock out, or the time came out wrong? Don't edit anything by hand: submit an issue and, if it's approved, the correction is applied automatically.
- Go to Clock-in issues → New issue.
- Enter the date of the affected entry (it must be today or earlier).
- Pick the type: I forgot to clock in, I forgot to clock out, Entry with the wrong time or Other reason.
- If you want to correct an existing entry, select it from the list (we show you those from the last 14 days). If the problem is a missing entry, leave the option set to "None".
- Say whether the correct entry is a clock-in or clock-out, at what time (in your company's time zone) and write a justification.
Once your manager approves it:
- If you selected an entry, it's corrected with the time and type you proposed.
- If there was no entry, a new manual one is created from your proposal.
Every approved correction is stored in the audit log with the previous value, the new one, who approved it and your justification. That's what working-time record regulations require: history is never silently overwritten.
You can track the status of each issue (pending, approved or rejected) on the same screen. More about daily clocking in Clocking in.
Requesting a schedule change
If you need to work a different schedule — for a few days or permanently — request it from Schedule changes → Request change:
- Choose one of the schedules already defined in your company (admins create them in Schedules).
- Set the scope:
- One-off: enter a start date and an end date.
- Permanent: start date only.
- The start date must be today or later, and add the reason.
Once approved, the new schedule is assigned to you for the requested dates and any overlapping assignments are trimmed automatically.
One-off changes revert on their own. If the change temporarily replaces your regular schedule, the day after the end date you automatically go back to your usual schedule — no second request is needed to "undo" the change.
As with clock-in issues, the list shows the status of each request and who resolved it.
Planning remote work days
If your company has remote work enabled (it's turned on in Company settings, along with the weekly limit), under Remote work you can mark the days you'll be working remotely:
- Pick the date (today or later) and click Log remote work.
- The screen shows how many days you've used this week and the maximum allowed ("This week: 2 of 3 remote work days").
- Change of plans? You can cancel any of your days that hasn't arrived yet.
Rules the platform applies when logging:
| Rule | What happens if it's not met |
|---|---|
| One entry per date | Warning: that date is already logged |
| Company weekly limit | Warning with the maximum days for that week |
| Remote work enabled | Logging isn't available |
The weekly limit is checked against the week of the chosen date, not the current week: you can plan several weeks ahead and each one respects its own quota.
Time entries on a day marked as remote work are tagged as remote, so reports and the presence view show who worked from home.
